Bacon & Brussel Sprout Skewers
Brussel Sprouts are not everyone’s cup of tea, however when teamed up with bacon, they become delicious! Brussel sprouts are are closely related to kale and cauliflower and have a great serve of vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin A, folate and fibre.
- 8 Stips of streaky bacon
- 14 Fresh Brussels sprouts cut in half
- Thread the bacon and Brussels sprouts on skewers.
- Bake at 200C for 35-50 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and the sprouts are tender.
If you don’t have skewers then just cut up the bacon and fry up in a frying pan with the Brussel sprouts.
